A small garden. A little stand. Good vegetables.
Galloway Farms is a backyard gardening operation tucked into the quiet neighborhood of Mapleton, Utah — right at the foot of the Wasatch Range. What started as a personal garden grew into more than one family could eat, so we put out a little stand and started sharing the harvest with neighbors.
We grow what does well in Utah Valley's short but productive summers: tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, corn, peppers, beans, carrots, potatoes, garlic, and a changing cast of greens and herbs each spring and fall. Everything is planted, tended, and harvested by hand.
There's no fancy operation here — just good soil, consistent watering, and the satisfaction of watching things grow. We keep things simple because simple works.
If you stop by the stand and have questions about what you're buying, how to store it, or what to make with it, just ask. That's the whole point of buying from a neighbor.
The stand is open when the garden is producing — stop by and see what's fresh.
